Plantpol sp. z o. o. in Zaborze near Oświęcim is a well-known leading manufacturer of source and final materials for balcony and flowerbed plants, ornamental nursery plants, perennial plants and fertilizers for hobbyists from the PLANTON group. Plantpol is also a winner of many prizes at the Polagra Fair and other gardening fairs, both in Poland and abroad, the organizer of seminars for Polish-based participants and a frequent guest at seminars organized abroad.

The company works closely with breeders of world-wide recognition, which allows us to introduce numerous new plants every year on the Polish market. The successful introduction of the biggest balcony hit of the recent year, the well-known Surfinia®, and many other plants such as Milion Bells®, Temari® and Tapien®, is a result of a good cooperation with Japanese breeders Suntory and Keisei.

As one of the founders and the only Polish member of the elite marketing group Proven Winners® Europe, Plantpol works with PW members from the US, Asia and Australia and participates in a program of selection, tests and trials covering hundreds of new varieties imported each year from all over the world. This ensures not only access to new plants, but also professional maintenance of nurseries, production of seedlings in the best possible hygienic conditions and optimum technology. These efforts result in good health and quality of plants.

We are among the few Polish companies with their own elite nurseries, which ensure delivery of fresh plants without the damage and strain of a long journey from various countries, quality plants which perform well in further cultivation.

Thanks to the co-operation with Kientzler of Germany our wide plant offering has been extended with new varieties such as New Guinea Impatiensa, Bacopas, Salvias, Lantanas and others.

Taking into account over 25 years’ experience we have in the nursery cultivation and production of Poinsettia, Paul Ecke Europe and PLA – the association of Poinsettia breeders and producers – offered us, as the only company in Poland, annual testing of clones and cultivars of this plant. The results of research will be taken into account also in our activities in the further breeding of this increasingly popular culture.

Thanks to high standards of produced plants the company established numerous foreign contacts, including the UK, Italy and Denmark, and the more and more important South European markets (the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) as well as emerging markets (Russia, Lithuania, the Ukraine). As a result of the policy of eastern market expansion, Plantpol-Ukraina was established in Striy near Lviv in 2003.

Our company allows its regular customers access to plant cultivation know-how and technology and provides specialized advice on the cultivation, fertilization and protection. our representative offices located throughout Poland facilitate contacts with customers. We keep working on optimizing the technology, control of the offered products, customer service improvement, saving customer’s time and costs and, last but not least, on facilitating the correct and efficient collection of the ordered plants. With this in mind, we built a comfortable packaging plant, which facilitates quick and efficient loading and ensures professional service.

In the last few years, the company has been developing dynamically, extending considerably its covered area with new facilities.
